While practicing as an occupational therapist, Deanna Edwards realized her patients’ muscular stress prevented them from getting the full benefits of her treatments. In order to further understand the issues surrounding their muscular stress, she completed a program of study in massage therapy. Equipped with a comprehensive skill set, she developed a unique interdisciplinary approach to muscular relaxation that used the best of massage and occupational therapy techniques.
Edwards garnered international notoriety for her therapy at the first Jack Binion’s World Poker Open in 1999. That later prompted her 2004 contract as a permanent fixture in the Bellagio Poker Room in Las Vegas, Nevada.
INTU has now grown to a team of more than 175 fully licensed therapists. Under Edward’s leadership and innovation, the company has acquired and maintained such clients as Bellagio Las Vegas, Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, and MGM Grand Hotel and Casino.
While Las Vegas is INTU’s home – its solid reputation goes far beyond the gaming industry. INTU has been invited to service a number of prestigious events, such as the Michael Jordan Celebrity Golf Tournament, Justin Timberlake’s Shriners Hospital for Children Open, and the Fourth Annual NAACP Golf Classic.
